RTS Ltd provides comprehensive, specialist advice on all aspects of woodland and timber management, from woodland design, establishment and maintenance through to the production, distribution and marketing of round timber. Incorporated in 1984, the company is based in Crieff, Perthshire, and operates primarily in Scotland .

The company now comprises a staff of six professionally qualified foresters, two forestry foremen and a workforce of ten experienced forest maintenance staff. In addition the company regularly engages a large number of Perth & Kinross based forestry contractors to assist in delivery of an expanding timber harvesting and woodland management programme. RTS has individual or corporate membership of most of the recognised forestry organisations including the Institute of Chartered Foresters, RSFS, Scottish Rural Property Business Association, CONFOR and Forest Contractors Association.

RTS' contracts include being retained as managers on over 10,000 hectares of woodland properties embracing commercial conifer plantations through to ancient semi-natural native broadleaves and have been consulted on all aspects of forestry by individuals, corporate clients, local authorities and government agencies.

After 20 years based in Gilmerton on the outskirts of Crieff, the company's expansion over recent years has seen the purchase of land at Bridgend in Crieff for the construction of purpose-built offices overlooking the River Earn, with entry late 2010.
